For parents & guardians

A clearer learning plan begins with an informed adult.

See what happens before lessons begin, how progress is reviewed and how Jerry EasyMath keeps public enquiries separate from private learner information.

What to expect

The first goal is not more work. It is a better starting point.

A class label alone does not show which ideas are secure, which gaps are blocking progress or what the learner can do independently.

01

Fit conversation

Jerry considers the level, subject, curriculum, goal, time zone and practical availability before confirming support.

02

Learning evidence

Recent marked work, school materials and recurring mistakes help reveal where the reasoning first becomes unstable.

03

Focused starting check

A short, low-pressure check may be used privately to test prerequisite knowledge and explanation—not to label the learner.

04

Working plan

The first priorities, lesson rhythm, practice expectations and review point are agreed from the available evidence.

The adult’s role

Support the process without carrying the learner’s thinking.

Parents and guardians provide context, protect routine and observe patterns. Lessons remain focused on helping the learner reason with increasing independence.

01

Before lessons

Share accurate context, recent work and the most important concern.

02

During lessons

Provide a suitable learning space and allow the learner to attempt the work.

03

Between lessons

Encourage the agreed practice rhythm without supplying answers.

04

At review points

Discuss progress, recurring gaps and the next realistic priority.

Progress feedback

Useful feedback should help an adult make the next decision.

Updates focus on evidence from lessons and assigned work. They are not invented score promises, school reports or medical assessments.

What feedback can cover

  • Ideas that are becoming more secure
  • Recurring errors or prerequisite gaps
  • Participation and independent reasoning
  • Practice completed and the next focus

What is not promised

  • A guaranteed grade or examination score
  • Universal coverage of every curriculum or tier
  • A diagnosis outside educational practice
  • Progress without learner participation and time

Privacy and younger learners

The public website explains the service. Private learning records stay outside it.

For a learner under 13, a parent or guardian must lead the enquiry and communication. Do not place sensitive learner records, diagnostic answers or school documents into the public enquiry builder.

Full diagnostic materials, answer keys, tutor-only solutions, learner records and administrative information are not published in the public Learning Library. Invited families can sign in to the protected portal. Younger learners use parent-managed access.

Parent questions

Clear boundaries before you begin.

Should my child complete the public enquiry alone?+

No. A parent, guardian or adult referrer should lead enquiries for school-age learners, especially anyone under 13.

Will Jerry use one standard test for every learner?+

No. The level, curriculum, recent work and stated goal determine which focused checks are useful.

How will I know whether lessons are helping?+

Progress is reviewed through explanation, accuracy, recurring error patterns, practice and increasing independence. Periodic feedback identifies what improved and what comes next.

Can I send schoolwork or diagnostic material through the website?+

The public page prepares a message only. Jerry can explain the appropriate private route for documents during the fit conversation.

A thoughtful first step

Tell Jerry what the learner needs—not just the class they are in.

The initial fit conversation is free. It helps both sides confirm the right starting point, curriculum and timetable.
